Mit einer Blutspende können wir Leben retten – genauer gesagt sogar bis zu drei Leben.
Passend zum gestrigen Welttag der Blutspende möchten wir auf dieses wichtige Thema aufmerksam machen: Denn um die dauerhafte Versorgung von Patienten sicherstellen zu können, werden laut DRK täglich rund 15.000 Blutspenden in Deutschland benötigt. Dabei benötigt jeder Patient meist nur einen bestimmten Bestandteil des Blutes, weshalb das gespendete Blut in der Regel in rote Blutkörperchen, Plasma und Blutplättchen separiert wird: So kann mit einer einzigen Blutkonserve das Leben von bis zu drei Patienten gerettet werden.
Auch wir bei Lindner möchten anderen Menschen das Leben retten und haben deshalb am 23. Mai 2022 eine Blutspendeaktion auf unserem Firmengelände ins Leben gerufen. Fazit: Von 126 Anmeldungen konnten 112 tatsächlich spenden – davon waren 58 Erstspender!
Die Stimmung bei Personal und Spendern war hervorragend und die Veranstaltung top organisiert.
Kurz mal weg vom Arbeitsplatz und so mit wenig Aufwand Leben retten: Eine tolle Sache! Zusätzlich zur Blutspende konnte man sich auch als Stammzellspender registrieren lassen und damit doppelt Gutes tun. Denn Stammzellspender werden ist beim Blutspendetermin super einfach: Während der Blutspende nimmt das Team einfach ein zusätzliches Röhrchen Blut ab, aus dem in einem Speziallabor die Gewebemerkmale analysiert werden. Infolge werden die Daten im weltweiten Spenderregister allen Patienten zur Verfügung gestellt – und mit etwas Glück der richtige Spender gefunden.
Aufgrund des tollen Feedbacks und der erfolgreichen Durchführung, gibt es bereits Überlegung, diese Aktion erneut stattfinden zu lassen. Wir halten Euch auf dem Laufenden!

With one blood donation, we can save lives – or, to be more precise, up to three lives.
In keeping with yesterday's World Blood Donation Day, we would like to draw attention to this important issue: According to the German Red Cross, around 15,000 blood donations are needed every day in Germany to ensure the long-term supply of patients. Each patient usually only requires a certain component of the blood, which is why the donated blood is normally separated into red blood cells, plasma and platelets: In this way, the lives of up to three patients can be saved with a single unit of blood.
We at Lindner also want to save other people's lives and have therefore set up a blood donation campaign on our company premises on 23 May 2022. Conclusion: Of 126 registrations, 112 were actually able to donate – of which 58 were first-time donors!
The atmosphere among staff and donors was excellent and the event was superbly organised.
A short break from the workplace and saving lives with little effort: A great thing! In addition to donating blood, you could also register as a stem cell donor and thus do double good. Because becoming a stem cell donor is super easy at the blood donation appointment: During the blood donation, the team simply takes an additional tube of blood from which the tissue characteristics are analysed in a special laboratory. As a result, the data is made available to all patients in the worldwide donor register – and with a bit of luck, the right donor is found.
Due to the great feedback and the successful implementation, we are already considering holding this campaign again. We will keep you informed!
