Hier steckt ganz viel Lindner drin

Where our heart beats - Lindner

Harald Seidl has been with Lindner since 1999 – with a permanent position since 2001. Over the years, he has made it from construction manager to project manager to senior construction manager for major projects and finally to branch manager of the whole fit-out division. Today, he is the Manager of our business unit Fit-Out in South and Southwest Germany. He’s therefore responsible for all of our business units in Bavaria and represents us to our customers. One of his most exciting projects at the moment is the renovation of the BMW FIZ in Munich, Germany.

The large-scale Research and Innovation Center (FIZ) at BMW offers both, the technical and spatial requirements for the research on the mobility of the future. Harald and his team were able to renovate the first building in 2017 – as general contractor. To date, there have been two follow-up orders for a total of eight buildings! Three of them have already been completely renovated and are in use again. All eight buildings will be finished by the end of 2023. Harald and his team have overall planning responsibility for the fit-out and the building technology.

For Harald, the chilled ceiling that was specially developed for BMW, is one of the architectural highlights: The canopy ceiling with integrated Lindner luminaires ensures optimal light, good acoustics and pleasant temperature – all in one ceiling system! But not only extraordinary architecture is what makes the project so special: The renovation is carried out with the help of Lean Construction Management, which ensures efficient and successful progress.

Harald experienced the internal processes in such a large company as particularly challenging. First of all, he needed to understand internal procedures: Recognising, sorting and harmonising the needs of everyone involved was not that easy! In the end, however, there was a partnership-based and trusting collaboration like it’s rarely experienced. This creates a great atmosphere among clients and executors. We think: a real masterpiece!
